Announcements

Our children's program will resume on September 14 on Sundays at 9:15 AM.

Mary Beth Slivka became a member of The Christian Community, a world-wide movement for religious renewal.  Congratulations and thank you, Mary Beth.  (If anyone is interested in becoming a member or has questions around membership, please contact Jong Won.)

Starting from September, on some Saturdays we will have a service in German, which is the original language of our liturgy.  If you desire to attend German services, please speak with Jong Won.  Depending on the desire/need of the community, we will decide the frequency of the German service.

The dates for Saturday services in the upcoming months are September 6, 13, 20, 27, October 4, November 1, 8, 22, 29.  Among those services, the services on September 20 and November 22 will be in German.

The dates for services in the Princeton area in the upcoming months will be on October 11, November 15, December 26, January 17, February 14, March 14, April 11, May 26, and June 13.  Please contact Heide at ratliff dot heide at gmail.com with any questions.

All of our priests will be away Oct. 20 – 24 to attend the North American Synod in Hillsdale, NY.  Jong Won will be away Nov. 24 – 29  for Thanksgiving with her family.  Due to these travelings, there will be no service on Wednesdays Oct. 22 and Nov. 26.  There will be a devotional gathering at 9am on October 22, but not on Nov. 26.

We will turn our attention to the Creed of our church for our contemplation during Holy Nights.  We are making this announcement quite ahead of time this year so that each one of us can live with the theme in a more conscious way over time.  If you have a particular line or two about which you want to share your thoughts or questions, please let Jong Won know.
